My family of Ann Arbor ran in the Big House Big Heart run. I am 30, my brother Dave, (a teacher at Thurston) is 34, and our parents are 63. Dave and I were raising money for Community Action Network, our parents for Mott, and there was a little competition regarding who would win. I have barely run anywhere since being a River Rat cross-country runner (come to think of it, Dave used to be captain of the Huron track team and probably hasn't run since then either). Our parents run every day. I was the slowpoke at 30:57, dad next at 30:12. Mom won, posting a 29:08, and beating Dave by one second. She has been gleefully exercising her bragging rights...

The run was a lot of fun, and helped us raise $400 for CAN and I don't know how much for Mott. Please let me know if you would like any more details about this family fiasco!
