Mission or Goal:

At the Furniture Bank, we furnish hope by helping those in need furnish a home. The idea is simple. The effect is profound.

Our goal is to collect all gently used furniture and appliances and give them to those in need. To ensure these donations reach those with the greatest need, we serve qualified referrals from recognized charitable and government agencies.

The Furniture Bank serves over 4,000 families in Oakland County every year. But there is a lot more to do in the region. Our services depend on the continued support of individuals, businesses, churches, organizations and foundations. We invite you to get involved.

Main target audience/ recipients: People seeking assistance include the homeless, the working poor, victims of fire, and families fleeing domestic violence.

What you wish to do with funds raised: Furnish hope to needy families and individuals in crisis in Oakland County.
