It's My Heart - Metro Detroit Chapter is a non-profit organization created to provide support to and advocating for those affected by Acquired and Congenital Heart Defects in the Metro Detroit area. Through awareness, resources and education, It’s My Heart creates alliances and networks among families, groups, hospitals, and the community. We provide Comfort Bags and Legacy Boxes to both C.S. Mott Children's Hospital and Children's Hospital of Michigan. IMH-Metro Detroit also holds monthly support meetings for families affected by CHD, an Awareness Fundraiser in February, an annual Family Fun Day and we are working on our 1st Annual CHD Awareness Walk, to be held in 2011.
